You can enter the content management system (hereinafter CMS) by using the user name and password obtained from the website developers or the system administrator.
For security reasons the system disables the user for a specified period after three failed attempts. In case of forgotten password use the password reminder function that sends you the data needed for login.
After login an opening page similar to the page below will be displayed. You can select individual functions by clicking on the tabs or large icons on the top row.
The scope of functions available from CMS may vary depending on the complexity of the website. The meaning of the most important menu items:
- Menu: for editing the menu items of the site
- Articles: editing all text contents of the site. The upload, editing and deleting of all menu item texts, blog entries, news, image galleries, video galleries and products are done here.
- Export/import: this serves the en mass importing and exporting of products primarily for webshops
- Orders: handling orders/enquiries received through the web
- Files: primarily for uploading and handling large PDF, Word and Excel documents
- SEO: graphical interface to monitor Google’s ranking of the website
- Clients: if there is an opportunity for clients to register on the website, incoming data can be accessed from here
- Users: administration of the users who have access to CMS and setting authorizations
- Settings: settings concerning the operation of the CMS can be made here
The graphical interface of the CMS supports several languages. The default language can be selected in the user settings.
By clicking on the “Log out” link you can log out from the CMS.
